Pre-Opening of Photo SeMA Seoul:
Preview of the Photo SeMA Seoul, due to open in 2025. Since 2019, Mladen Jadric and his team have been working in close collaboration with the Seoul-based architecture firm 1990uao, led by Yoon Geun-ju, on the planning and realisation of this unique building in the Changdong district.
The Photo SeMA will function as a new center for contemporary photography in Asia and Europe, offering space for exhibitions, research, and work on photographic collections. As part of the international seminar “A Place for Photography,” the architecture of Photo SeMA will be the focus of a separate lecture segment that will examine the project’s visions and concepts in more detail.
We are proud to be part of this pioneering project, which will have a lasting impact on the international photography scene and Seoul’s architectural landscape.
